Assist/lead in the development of the nursing rehab program and resident specific care plans
To provide in-service sessions and training in all rehab programs
Supervise the implementation of nursing rehab programs
Long Term Care is a unique experience, when you come to work you are coming into a Resident's home. Worked with a multidisciplinary team comprising of dietary personnel, Nurse Practitioners, Doctors, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, among others to help assess the new Resident
Lead the collaboration of the multidisciplinary team to determine the appropriate treatment, prevent deterioration, and manage pain for the Resident
Earned a gift card to your favorite restaurant from our rewards program, after taking initiative to complete extra training/learning
Provided health teaching for the Resident, their family, PSWs, and others on your team
Drove and supported care goals for other residents in your unit
Applied your understanding of complex wound care beyond just changing dressings, but also assessed and altered the care program to meet your Resident's needs
