MT Align is seeking English speaking, French speaking, and fully bilingual highly motivated junior and experienced commercial real estate lawyers to join our roster. the ability to provide legal counsel and guidance on all aspects of real estate acquisition, management and disposition.
experience with property financings, construction financings, leasing matters and real property acquisitions/dispositions as well as sale and leaseback transactions.
the ability to review and interpret leases in order to complete detailed and comprehensive lease review summaries.
For the purchase and sale of commercial properties: experience drafting of agreements of purchase and sale, negotiation of agreement of purchase and sale from both a purchaser and vendor perspective; Leasing: experience in drafting and negotiation of commercial leases from the landlord’s perspective for commercial space including vendor leaseback, commercial condominium units and retail space.
Real estate investment funds: assist with creation of real estate investment fund vehicles, including limited partnerships; drafting of corporate documents; McCarthy Tétrault LLP provides a broad range of legal services, advising on large and complex assignments for Canadian and international interests. The firm has a substantial presence in Canada’s major commercial centres as well as in New York City and London, UK.
