Construction Project Coordinator

Calgary AB, Canada CorMac Projects Inc. Full time

As a member of the project team, you will work closely with our Project Managers and Site Superintendents to ensure project plan administration supports the execution of field operations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with construction projects including liaison with Architects, Consulting Engineers, Subcontractors and Owners
  • Assist with preparation and execution of overall work plan and schedule
  • Review and process shop drawings
  • Prepare cost estimates for change order and audit purposes
  • Price site instructions, work orders and change notices
  • Prepare monthly progress application and expedite payment
  • Provide document turnover to client at completion of project
  • Resolve deficiencies in a timely manner
  • Provide other technical office support as required by the Production staff
  • Assist with maintenance of project files and preparation of reports
  • Attend job site subcontractor and safety meetings

Qualifications

  • Motivated and confident with excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Highly organized, excellent time management skills and able to multi-task
  • Ability to meet job demands and deadlines
  • Must have minimum 3 years of related work experience as a Project Coordinator.
  • Work well with others in a team environment and contribute to the team
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Team player
