Gas Plant Operator / Power Engineer

Valleyview, AB

A major oil and gas company is looking for a Gas Plant Operator to assist at their facility near the Valleyview area. This position will run on a 7/7 rotation with 12-hour days/nights. Candidates from the Valleyview area are encouraged to apply, but camp accommodations are available.

Other requirements include:

  1. 4th Class Power Engineering or higher preferred
  2. 5+ years experience in gas plant operations preferred
  3. Valid Standard First Aid & H2S Alive
  4. Clean driving abstract required
  5. Capable of passing pre-employment drug & alcohol test
  6. Must be able to work with no or little supervision
  7. Capable of working in both a team and individual environment
