Jean Marie River First Nation is seeking a

Senior Administrator Officer

The Jean Marie River First Nation is looking for a Senior Administrative Officer. Reporting directly to Chief and Council, the Senior Administrative Officer (SAO) leads the planning, organization, implementation and evaluation of the overall management and day-to-day operations of Jean Marie River First Nation and the community of Jean Marie River, NT. The SAO ensures overall fiscal responsibility, and oversees the delivery of effective programs that meet the needs of the community of Jean Marie River and its Membership. This position is the primary liaison between Chief and Council and the Administration, and leads the Management Team and staff in implementing the strategic direction set by Chief and Council.

Qualifications:
Five years related experience
Human Resources Experience
Experience with Municipal programs and services
Experience working with First Nations Organizations
Degree preferred however equivalencies may be considered
Ability to speak Dene Zhatıé will be considered an asset

Salary and benefits to commensurate with experience and education.
