Consultant - Operational Excellence

Reporting to a Director of Operations, you will participate in the execution of performance improvement projects carried out at client sites. You will travel a lot in Canada and the United States, work with organizations from various manufacturing sectors and new teams on each of the mandates assigned. This position will allow you to quickly develop a very strong business acumen.

YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Transform organizations deploying Lean concepts while driving compelling performance improvements.
  • Coach managers to increase employee engagement and retention.
  • Deploy short intervals control concept to improve performance dialogue.
  • Analyze processes, communication channels and management systems to identify productivity-related improvement opportunities.
  • Develop and implement management operating systems.
  • Facilitate change management activities.
  • Track behavioral improvements using our proprietary KBIs.
  • Implement Utrakk (our standalone online platform) to further improve operational performance and issue resolution.
  • Transfer knowledge towards a team of Proactors (change agents) to ensure the sustainability of our initiatives.
  • Identify repeat business opportunities.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • A graduate degree in a relevant field, including management or industrial engineering.
  • 1+ years of relevant professional experience, in consulting, continuous improvement, lean management or operational excellence.
  • Coaching experience is an asset.
  • Excellent relational and communication skills.
  • Located close to a major airport (extensive travel in Canada and the US).
