What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll manage a team at the heart of CIBC’s digital transformation, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects involving multiple back-end systems. As a Senior Manager , within Capital Markets Regulatory Technology you’ll oversee the ideation and implementation of easy, flexible, and personalized solutions that enhance the client experience. You’ll work closely with your team to ensure appropriate delivery of support services, and ensure adherence to standards and operating procedures.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Understanding Requirements – Track and analyze operating environment for specified services and implement corrective actions as needed. Work with clients and internal partners to determine, negotiate, and manage services to the agreed standards. Monitor service levels to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • People Leadership – Lead and coach a high performing group team of individuals. Direct, motivate, and develop your team, maximizing their contributions and professional growth. Share knowledge and collaborate to come up with effective solutions to problems.
  • Relationship Management – Work closely with clients and business partners to develop, test, and implement application program. Impact and improve the business by advising application owners on the technology possibilities and requirements.

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate experience  leading a team of DevOps developers and are a seasoned professional with the ability to coach and help develop team members. You are a code quality champion with hands-on experience in SW Design using SOLID Design principles. You are passionate about researching and learning new innovative technology; Deep understanding of testing practices such as: TDD, ATDD, BDD; DevOps principles and best practices; Hands on experience designing and developing applications, Microservices and REST API’s and Technical experience with: C#, .Net, .Net Core, SQL, REACT, ElasticSearch. The team you are leading also manage feeds, batch system management, storage, and certificates. It’s an Asset if: You have good understanding of Capital Markets products and experience with Azure Cloud. Must have knowledge of Agile methodology and experience working in a Scrum team.
  • You have a degree/diploma in  Computer Science, Business, and/or a related field.
