Position: Project Manager/Estimator
PTW is hiring a Project Manager/Estimator to join our Panel Shop team in Rockyview County, AB
Reporting to the Panel Shop Manager, the Project Manager is responsible for the execution of control panel and automation projects from conception to completion. The Project Manager is also responsible for estimating functions and management of the Calgary panel shop. Orders materials for stock and projects. Directs project teams, delegates responsibilities and follows up on action items. Provides vacation relief for branch management, foreman, and lead hand. Follows up on change orders on a timely basis and analyzes each project’s budget forecast. Ensures projects are completed on time, on budget and according to customer expectations, exceeding requirements where possible. Ensures completion activities are documented for project close out. Delivers the Quality Management Plan and associated Inspection Test Plan. Prepares and/or coordinates the preparation of full cost estimates on conceptual, design-build, general tender or proposed work packages for additional work. Journeyman Electrician and/or Instrumentation Technician/Mechanic Certification is required. Minimum 1-2 years of project management or estimating experience required. Demonstrated ability to produce high quality work. Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Exceptional time-management skills.
