This is a part-time position (20 hours per week).Responsibilities include assisting the Associate Pastor (Gather) by facilitating a climate of worship primarily during the Sunday morning gatherings.Key functions involve assisting with the planning of services, coordinating volunteers in the worship department, and resourcing and scheduling key services and events.The ideal candidate should be able to work independently, lead and work with teams, handle multiple tasks, have good written and verbal communication skills, problem-solve, as well as understand music arrangement, vocals, song writing and recording, and appreciate and maintain a broad range of music styles.Preference may be given to applicants with Bible school and musical training, who also have proven experience in leadership, supervision, and budget management.Demonstrates knowledge of and skill at problem solving• Demonstrates advanced computer knowledge, particularly with music software and online resources• Maintains knowledge and skill level to provide expert delivery of services• Demonstrates solid knowledge of business and fiscal responsibility.• Maintain productivity and focus during periods of interruptions• Proven ability to multitask with strong attention to detail• Sound mentorship and counselling skills• Solid understanding of music, arrangements, vocals, choir, band, song writing and recording• Maintain a broad range and appreciation of music stylesService Focus:Desire to focus one’s efforts on discovering, meeting and serving the needs of the others as they align with the ministry focus and goalsTeamwork:Work cooperatively within teams, work groups and across CLA to achieve overall vision and goals.Relationship Building:Able to establish and build rapport with others within the overall objectives of the ministry.Accountability:Setting of high standards of performance and holding team members, and others accountable for results and action
