We are looking for a motivated individual as a financial analyst with an appetite to learn and bring value to our Customer Satisfaction (CS) Planning team in Customer Value Innovation (CVI) division. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting budget management, financial planning & analysis, KPI management and internal & external reporting activities.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain financial tools to analyze the financial performance of the company, operating budgets, and financial/operational targets.
  • Ensure robust forecasts are in place having challenged and interrogated the key inputs with the relevant teams.
  • Supervise performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
  • Execute period end closing activities and complete month-end close checklists.
  • Gather data and perform calculations for accrual and other month end journal entries.
  • Review classification of expenses and generate necessary reports to facilitate period end close.
  • Responsible for the management of the business’s KPI in order to facilitate analysis and reporting of performance against targets as well as strategic objectives.
  • Prepare valuable reporting and analysis to support management and identify significant trends/issues.
  • Influence business decisions with impactful analyses on identification of trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate the communication of performance towards goals and strategies of the business.
  • Understand key financial and operational drivers of performance and help to integrate them consistently in business management reporting processes.
  • Support the development/refinement of appropriate efficiency metrics, dashboards and financial/nonfinancial KPIs to enable effective performance management.

KNOWLDEGE, SKILLLS & ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related business field
  • 3+ years of working experience
  • Experience being a central piece of a wide range of strategic decision-making processes and as a result have become comfortable assessing a business and making appropriate choices.
  • Must be a strong communicator, both verbally and in written form (Korean / English).
  • Possess an ability to translate raw information into actionable strategies and initiatives. Ability to perform standard analyses such as performance analyses, competitive analyses, market analyses, etc.
  • Must demonstrate strong attention to detail, have high-energy and a proactive nature, have a positive can-do attitude, be result-driven, have exceptional problem-solving skills, and work comfortably in a group/collaborative setting.
  • Must have an ability to multitask and meet aggressive deadlines, and demonstrate an ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Proven ability to lead, inspire, and motivate a team into consistent performance improvement.
  • Ability to implement change process to streamline and make existing processes more efficient.
  • Ability to work in a high pressure environment, take quick and effective decisions and direct others.
  • Excellent analytical skills to understand business drivers and interpret financial results.
  • MS Office: The candidate will also demonstrate proficiency in the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (Advanced knowledge of VBA Macros strong asset)
