Quality Assurance and Control Technician

TheBucket Shop isa Timmins, Ontario based mining equipment repair and manufacturing facility andis the exclusive Canadian distributor for Rhinowear Wear Products. Our fieldteam, also known as Steeltec, has been deployed across Northern Ontario, andremote parts of Canada, to fulfill projects including welding and millwrightservices.

TheQuality Assurance and Control Technician will be responsible for maintainingquality standards set forth by OEM specifications, CWB and The Bucket Shop bymonitoring and approving in-process production, finished products, andrecording the results. Additionally, the successful candidate will be requiredto oversee and assign the required training for staff in production methods,weld policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess the jobrequirements listed below and have a keen eye for detail.

JobRequirements

· Possess a college diploma in a Welding Techniques or Welding Engineering Technician orany program acceptable to the employer.

· Minimumof three (3) years of experience working in a Quality Assurance and ControlTechnician capacity.

· CWBWelding Supervisor Certificate is highly valued and considered an asset.

· Previousexperience administering, tracking and assigning training.

· Exceptionalinterpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain lasting relationshipswith customers

· Strongverbal and written communication skills
