Chinook Consulting Services provides expert energy consultants with extensive experience in both conventional and unconventional developments, as well as large-scale projects and everything in between. In addition, we also provide services for alternative resource projects such as geothermal, lithium, helium, hydrogen, and carbon storage.

This is an on-site, contract role for a Senior Wellsite Geologist located in Calgary, Alberta .
As a Senior Wellsite Geologist, you will be responsible for providing geologic interpretation and geosteering services on various projects. You will also be responsible for analyzing data and providing technical input to team members, as well as participating in field studies and preparing technical reports for clients.

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Geology, Earth Science, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in wellsite geology, geosteering, and geoscience studies
Expert knowledge in applicable geologic and geosteering software (StarSteer)
Demonstrated expertise in drilling operations, formation evaluation, well logging, and completions
Self-motivated, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and able to work independently
Willingness to travel and work on-site at various locations
Professional designations and certifications in relevant areas are considered an asset
