We are looking to transform the employee experience and supercharge the ‘Human’ in Human Resources. In this career-defining opportunity to change the way HR works, you’ll help deliver a journey-based model to designing employee experiences, collaborating with senior leadership to define the future of EX in a global organization supporting over 90,000 employees. Through coaching, strategic advisory and practical design engagements, you’ll also help shape the vision, mandate, and outcomes of newly formed Employee Experience department.

What will you do?

  • Provide strategic experience design framing, planning and support to partners with the goal to design employee experiences and solutions that sit at the sweet spot of end-user desirability and business impact.
  • Plan and support employee-centered design research activities to define current state areas of opportunity and map ideal future experiences.
  • Work closely with leadership, fellow designers, and the broader HR team to provide direct guidance, expertise and coaching on experience design leveraging our employee experience design process and standards.
  • Be a champion for employee-centered business relevant solutions that resonate and drive desired performance and outcomes to achieve business impact.
  • Develop and deliver strategic presentations to tell compelling stories, which include writing, thoughtful image finding, and designing visual information in a digestible and engaging way.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Passion for learning about people, behavior, and the worlds they inhabit, and an unsatiable curiosity to understand the motivations that lie beneath.
  • Demonstrable experience in creating strategy for design and delivery to empower the business, while keeping user needs at the core.
  • Technically proficient with a variety of Design methodologies, including Service Design, UX Research, workshop design & facilitation, and UX/UI.
  • Comfortable working on ambiguous problems with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Ability to comfortably switch between the details of the data and the bigger picture.
  • Ability to synthesize research into clear insights that can persuade diverse internal stakeholders of their relevance and importance.
  • Ability to create, sell and execute design strategy and research approaches appropriate to the scope of a given engagement.
  • Experienced facilitator of cross-functional collaboration. Ability to create spaces to consider different perspectives and create alignment and shared ownership between stakeholders.
  • Design process expert that coaches teammates in times of ambiguity and defines milestones and activities to move the work forward.
  • Establishing trust and building environments where employees feel safe to share experiences.
  • Comfortable challenging the status quo to build new and innovative ways forward.
  • Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Showcase great storytelling and communication skills, whether on paper or in person.
  • Graduate degree in Design, Psychology, Human Factors, Industrial Design, or comparable work experience.
