Our focus is on the application of critical thinking to the management of mine waste and water. If continuing your career journey with us, you would be part of our Mining Environmental Group , based out our Fredericton office. Conduct geochemical analyses of soil, rock, and water samples to assess environmental impact and identify potential risks associated with mining activities.
Provide technical expertise and strategic advice to clients on geochemical aspects of mining projects, including waste management, acid rock drainage, and water treatment.
Collaborate with engineers, geologists, and environmental scientists to design and implement monitoring programs and remediation strategies.
Prepare comprehensive reports, presentations, and regulatory submissions to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and regulatory authorities.
We respect the knowledge and experience you have gained to date and are willing to help you build on it. A degree in Geochemistry, Environmental Science, or related field, master’s degree preferred.
At least five years’ experience related to geochemical analysis and consulting, with a focus on the mining sector.
Proficiency in geochemical modeling software and data analysis tools.
An ability to build relationships with multidisciplinary project-based teams.
Experience in a safety focused environment with near miss and incident reporting requirements.
An ability to find creative solutions and know how to present them.
Demonstrate that you are flexible and seek solutions rather than focus on problems.
