Information Security Specialist with Security Clearance

JD Canada is looking for an Information Security Specialist to add to our IT group. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing and enforcing data security policies, conducting regular audits, and implementing security solutions. You'll provide training and support to staff, respond to security incidents, and collaborate with the IT team on cross-functional projects. If you're ready to take on a key role in ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's data, apply nowDevelop and enforce data security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.Implement and manage security solutions, including firewalls, anti-virus software, and intrusion detection systems.Provide training and support to staff on security best practices and awareness, promoting a culture of security throughout the organization.Collaborate with the IT team on cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring security is integrated into all systems and processes.Qualifications:Minimum 3 years of experience in information security.Strong understanding of network infrastructure and database security.Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are preferred.
