  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the mental health needs of individuals and families, taking into account diverse cultural backgrounds.
  2. Provide counseling and therapy to clients dealing with a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics.
  3. Collaborate with healthcare teams to integrate mental health perspectives into holistic patient care plans.
  4. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches to address the unique needs of each client, fostering a supportive and healing environment.
  5. Offer crisis intervention and support, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  6. Advocate for clients to ensure access to mental health resources, support services, and community-based programs.
  7. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and interventions in accordance with organizational policies.
Qualifications:
  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in counseling and therapy, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  2. Proficiency in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities and interventions.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  4. Experience working with diverse populations and an understanding of cultural competency in mental health care.
  5. Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in mental health practice.
  6. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
