Outside Sales Representative - Building Supplies

Territory: Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Surrounding Areas (Collingwood, Barrie, Cambridge, Waterloo, Burlington)

Job Description: We are seeking a driven and ambitious Outside Sales Representative to join our client’s team and make a mark in the building materials industry. The ideal candidate will have industry experience or will have a strong sales background and hungry to enter the industry, eager to learn, and committed to exceeding customer expectations. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales within the GTA and surrounding areas, forging new relationships, and solidifying our client’s presence in the market.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets and drive revenue growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with contractors, builders, architects, and homeowners.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, product developments, and competitor activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience within building materials preferred, but not required; strong sales candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong desire to succeed and make an impact in the building materials industry.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
