Unilux is looking for a VP Procurement to lead and oversee the sourcing, purchasing, and delivery of materials and services for the organization. Responsibilities
Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies that align with the company's goals and objectives
Negotiate and maintain contracts and relationships with suppliers, vendors, and service providers
Manage risk in the supply chain by dual sourcing, supplier auditing and by stocking strategies
Analyze market trends, supply and demand, and supplier performance to identify opportunities and risks
Lead and mentor the procurement team and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
Responsible for production planning and all materials management activities
Active member of top management team reporting to EVP – vp operations, vp purchasing, vp new equipment sales
Direct reports include vp purchasing, director planning, director logistics
Actively lead team in selection and implementation of erp system
Execute strategy to minimize inventory levels while maintaining customer deliveries
Analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify and analyze strategic issues, business unit opportunities, service levels, consolidate critical and non-critical requirements across different suppliers.
Qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or purchasing, preferably in the manufacturing industry
Proven track record of leading and managing procurement teams and projects
Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
Knowledge of procurement best practices, tools, and systems
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks and deadlines
