This position is based in our Calgary office, offering a flexible work arrangement with a requirement to be in the office at least 50% of the time. Lead significant cross-functional projects to create and implement scalable, reliable protocols and processes
Engage regularly with clients to understand their needs and refine processes, minimizing error risks
Work closely with stakeholders, including finance and IT teams, to gather requirements and develop functional specifications
Develop and enforce controls to comply with regulatory standards and internal guidelines
Perform rigorous testing of financial systems and processes to preemptively solve issues and enhance security
Track key performance indicators to evaluate process effectiveness and promote ongoing enhancement
Train and support finance teams in adopting new processes and technologies
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, or a related field required
Experienced in linking business challenges to sophisticated technical solutions
Resilient and adaptable, excels in a dynamic, multi-tasking startup environment, and skilled at adjusting priorities swiftly
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
