Our diverse team of designers, engineers, project managers, and tradespeople are highly skilled in all areas of electrical and controls. We invest heavily in robust training programs, seminars, and safety certifications, alongside the latest tools, technology, and equipment for our team members. We make sure they have everything they need to get the job done right, for even the most complex projects.
The successful Electrical Estimator candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and timely estimates for potential projects. Provide thorough takeoffs that accurately reflect all costs, using estimating software.
Preparing tenders by quantifying, organizing, and tabulating all material, labour, and subcontract costs needed to complete the project.
Participating in tender review, tender hand-off with Project Manager and Purchasing when and where required
Provide comprehensive updates to management, including possibility of winning the bid, changes that need to be made, and any possible risks
Attend site visits as required to gain knowledge and information for quoting purposes
Track all bids and proposals in excel and submit to Project Manager for entry
Ability to understand all types of drawings and technical specifications.
Strong knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Code and Canadian Electrical Code
Thorough working knowledge of the electrical construction industry
A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in estimating electrical ICI construction work
Advanced user of MS Office and Accubid
