Role Description

This is a full-time in office role for an Electrical CAE Drafter. You will be responsible for creating 3D models, schematics, and fabrication drawings for low voltage switchgear, busbar, control panels and similar equipment under the direction of our engineering and design team.

Qualifications

  • Skilled with 3D design software such as Fusion360 (preferred), Solidworks or similar
  • Design and Technical Drawing skills using CAE tools such as EPLAN P8 (preferred) or AutoCad
  • Knowledge of Electricity and Electrical principles is beneficial
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to learn codes, standards and review technical requirements
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience in mining or automation industry is a plus
  • Degree/Diploma in a technical discipline such as engineering technology, design, or CAD specific program is a bonus

Compensation

70-80k/yr
