  4. Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for industrial construction or maintenance
  5. Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses:
  1. AutoCAD Certification
  2. Certified Engineering Technologist (CET)
  3. Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) by a provincial or territorial association
Computer and technology knowledge:

AutoCAD, MS Windows, Computer-aided design (CAD), MS Office, MS Excel

Area of work experience:

Installation, maintenance and inspection of equipment or facilities, Operations or production, Purchasing, procurement and contracts, Evaluate work environments, programs and procedures to control, eliminate, and prevent disease or injury, Fabrication, Project coordination, Design

Area of specialization:

Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system, Material handling, Construction, Drafting, Industrial design, Transportation/travel information
