Read more.Phoenix’s CampusThe Ascension Academy program lasts approximately 18 months. Most of the training takes place at CAE’s facilities at Falcon Field airport in Phoenix, in Arizona on a modern, cutting-edge campus. Read MoreOnce you're hiredYour training will enable you to operate the aircraft in our fleet upon completion of the program.You’ll fly some of the most fuel-efficient, last-generation aircraft in their class (A330 and A321), and work with the latest technological tools in the industry.You’ll fly to top international destinations. You’ll quickly be flying transatlantic to Europe, the Caribbean, Central America and the east and west coasts of the United States.QualificationsMake sure you are eligible: Canadian citizens or permanent residents with little to no previous flight experience are encouraged to apply. If you have already started flight training, you cannot enroll in this program if you have obtained any qualification or certificate other than a private pilot certificate. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age at the start of training with a completed high school diploma and English proficiency equivalent to ICAO level 4.Kick off your application by answering a few questions about your candidacy. As you proceed through the process, an assessment and interviews will be required. If selected, a conditional letter of employment will be provided prior to commencing your training. After enrolling, you will begin your training at the CAE Phoenix Aviation Academy in sunny Arizona, USA.Please note that you must send us a copy of your passport along with your resume; otherwise, your application will not be considered and you will not be contacted by our team.Please also provide us with the transcript of your most recent training program if you have pursued studies within the last 5 years.Additional InformationWe have four cohorts per year to start your training : March, June, September and December Employment EquityAt Transat, we foster an environment where inclusiveness, respect and equity reign.
