E&I Controls Maintenance Technologist

TWD is currently seeking E&I Controls Maintenance Technologist to support our client based in Canada. Manage and/or support the execution of E&I Controls maintenance engineering activities in alignment with industry best practices.
Work & collaborate with maintenance execution, Turnaround, planning, operations, cross functional teams [process engineers, mechanical engineering, machinery engineering] to fulfill engineering jobs.
Create Maintenance Strategies.
Prepare and/or review internal and external technical documents ensuring accuracy of content and identification of concerns and opportunities.
Develop work scopes for the reliable operation and maintenance of site systems and equipment.
Provide technical support and recommendations on all aspects of static equipment, operations, and maintenance.
Promote & participate in a culture of safety related to engineering jobs.
Adhere to training requirements, contractor safety qualification and management requirements, and safe work processes.
Other duties may be assigned based on the needs of the business unit.
Perform field walkdowns and collaborate with maintenance and operations personnel to develop repair plans.
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical / Instrumentation engineering.
Knowledge of Master Data would be an asset
Minimum of 15 years of relevant industry experience in oil and gas, or a comparable industry.
Knowledge of reliability tools such as Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and/or Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Ability to visit plant areas as needed.
Desire to seek feedback to improve quality of deliverables and to develop existing and new expertise.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based business applications.
Familiar with AutCad, drawing revision process and knowledge of SAP
Familiar with SAP and Maintenance & Reliability workflow.
Valid Alberta Class 5 or equal driver’s license.
