have the ability to research and analyze industry and company data including regulatory and compliance research.
can manage, write and implement underwriting guidelines to the regions and ensure compliance and alignment with corporate underwriting standards.
Typically, these skills are gained through a four-year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study such as Business, and six years’ experience of Commercial Auto, involving large complex fleets, garage automobile coverage, contingent lessors’ coverage, and non-owned automobiles underwriting, including multi-line underwriting experience in commercial general liability and motor truck cargo. Experience with accounts involving actuarial reviews is also required.
