We are seeking a Financial Analyst for our growth-mode client in the financial and banking solutions industry. This is a full-time permanent role with a hybrid working model located in Montreal. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting various financial and operational aspects. Tasks include verifying invoices, managing accruals, coordinating cost distribution, analyzing budget discrepancies, generating reports, updating financial records, reconciling accounts, aiding in closing procedures, and conducting occasional analyses.Your Responsibilities:Assisting controllers in Operations, Support Functions, and Financial Activities, including daily and month-end closures.Validating monthly invoices and ensuring accurate recording in the tracking system.Maintaining a monthly accrual file for two departments within the bank. Preparing internal invoicing for costs monthly and collaborating with the Sourcing and Procurement team to allocate expenses to projects.Collaborating with the Sourcing and Procurement team to forecast monthly project costs.Providing a written analysis of significant budget variances for two departments monthly and year-to-date.Generating monthly P&L reports for support functions.Managing the financial hierarchy referential database.Creating necessary general ledger entries.Reconciling and confirming financing activity accounts monthly.Assisting in clearing account balances during year-end closings.Providing monthly general ledger details for specific business units.Must haves:Bachelor in Finance or Accounting 3-5 years of experience in financial analysisAbility to analyze and summarize informationAbility to prioritize effectively Ability to work autonomously and successfully in a team Adaptability to changing environments Strong problem-solving skills Effectiveness in decision-making English is mandatory, and French is highly desired. Les tâches incluent la vérification des factures informatiques, la gestion des provisions, la coordination de la répartition des coûts, l'analyse des écarts budgétaires, la génération de rapports, la mise à jour des dossiers financiers, la réconciliation des comptes, l'aide aux procédures de clôture et la réalisation d'analyses ponctuelles.Vos responsabilités :Assister les contrôleurs dans les activités informatiques, opérationnelles, les fonctions de support et les activités financières, y compris les clôtures quotidiennes et mensuelles.Valider les factures informatiques mensuelles et assurer un enregistrement précis dans le système de suivi.Tenir un fichier de provisions mensuelles pour l'informatique et les opérations.Préparer la facturation interne des coûts informatiques mensuellement et collaborer avec l'équipe d'approvisionnement pour affecter les dépenses aux projets.Collaborer avec l'équipe d'approvisionnement pour prévoir les coûts mensuels des projets informatiques.Fournir une analyse écrite des écarts budgétaires significatifs pour l'informatique et les opérations mensuellement et sur l'année.Soutien aux fonctions de support :Générer des rapports mensuels de P&L pour les fonctions de support.Gérer la base de données référentielle de la hiérarchie financière.Soutien aux activités financières :Créer les écritures de journal nécessaires.Réconcilier et confirmer les comptes d'activité de financement mensuellement.Aider à régler les soldes de comptes lors des clôtures de fin d'année.Fournir mensuellement des détails de grand livre pour des unités commerciales spécifiques.Support général :Effectuer des analyses ad hoc selon les besoins.Qualifications :Baccalauréat en Finance ou en Comptabilité3 à 5 ans d'expérience dans des fonctions similairesCapacité à analyser et résumer l'informationCapacité à établir des priorités efficacementCapacité à travailler de manière autonomeCapacité à travailler avec succès en équipeAdaptabilité aux environnements changeantsSolides compétences en résolution de problèmesEfficacité dans la prise de décisionL'anglais est obligatoire, le français est fortement souhaité.
