The Chapman Group is assisting their client, the Housing Hub of New Brunswick, in the recruitment of an inaugural Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Recognizing that housing affordability is vital to sustainable communities, the Housing Hub of New Brunswick (the Housing Hub) partners to drive housing development across New Brunswick. Through a disciplined approach and a focus on execution, The Housing Hub combines relevant stakeholder resources, connections, and experience to expand the development of housing projects that are diverse, inclusive, and sustainable.
After launching just one year ago, the Housing Hub has built considerable momentum and is ready for the next stage in its evolution. The CEO will work with the board, partners, sponsors, government, and volunteers to elevate the vision of the Housing Hub: affordable housing for all. Qualifications · Experience in governance, and skill in working with a Board of Directors.
· Minimum of a bachelor's degree in business or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Experience in housing development projects and/or commercial development; housing management is considered an asset.
· Ability to operate in both official languages (French and English).
· High level strategic thinking and planning. Ability to effectively communicate the organization's mission to stakeholders, partners, and the overall community.
· Strong financial management skills, including budget preparation, analysis, decision making and reporting.
· Demonstrated ability to oversee and work collaboratively with sector professionals, contractors, and staff.
· Solid organizational abilities, including planning, delegating, program development and task facilitation.
· Responsibilities The successful candidate can operate in both official languages (French and English) and is a strong relationship builder with a growth mindset. The CEO must have a hands-on, results oriented approach to operationalizing organizational initiatives for the growth and sustainability of the Housing Hub.
Staffing/performance management

Drive the execution of the Housing Hub's strategy.
· Ability to collaborate closely with the board, receiving feedback and direction for executive decision-making.
· Flexible and adaptable to build a high-functioning and responsive organization.
· Provide leadership and management for the Housing Hub's staff team.
· Develop the appropriate policies, systems, and procedures to ensure operational effectiveness.
· Manage and oversee the Housing Hub's financial sustainability and growth.
· Oversee and ensure the successful completion of projects.
· Identify and secure housing development projects and partnership opportunities.
