Our client, a banking organization, is looking for a Senior Analyst Developer – Integration Platforms.

Job description :

Working with analysts and requesting projects, the incumbent is primarily involved in the development, configuration, testing of integration APIs as part of multiple major Desjardins transformation projects. Development is mainly centered around an API gateway as well as several service integration components including API management tools, or, when required, API portal and monitoring tools.

Role and responsibilities:

  • Mastery of WebAPI REST concepts in Micro-services or SOA architecture, as well as related security
  • Understanding of market standards related to web services (SOAP, WS-*, etc.);
  • Experience with an API security gateway or other large-scale web services platform
  • Experience with web services integration and mediation tools
  • Experience in preparing and carrying out unit, integration and non-regression tests;
  • Good knowledge of XML standards, Schemas XSD, WSDL
  • Knowledge of Git and GitHub
  • Ability to develop in one of the following languages : JAVA, Python, AngularJS
  • Ability to work in an Agile team

Desired expertise :

  • 5 to 7 years’ relevant experience in software development
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud computing concepts and approaches (IaaS, PaaS, CaaS)
  • Good general knowledge of networking and security
  • Working knowledge of several integration, continuous delivery/deployment and automation tools (Concourse, Gitlab, Ansible, Maven, SonarQube, Artifactory)
  • Experience in preparing and carrying out unit, integration and non-regression tests
  • Knowledge of OAuth2 security standards
  • Knowledge of SAFe and agile principles at scale
  • Relevant practical experience in implementing and operating ESB-type integration solutions (Tibco/Business Works) an asset
