Responsibilities:
- Manage the accounting staff (1 employee)
- Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including AP, AR, GL, and account reconciliations
- Lead the year-end review and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Maintain Federal and Provincial requirements relating to HST, EHT, and Corporate Tax
- Track and maintain all licenses (professional/corporate) and registrations, and renew when necessary
- Work with the business on budgets and forecasts.
- Process Payroll for approximately 60 employees
- Work with external HR Consultants
- Must have project accounting experience from either tech, construction, engineering firm, architecture firm or project manufacturing
- Strong systems knowledge and experience. Intermediate/advanced excel skills required
