We are expanding our team and are seeking an experienced, full-time Software Developer with demonstrated expertise in crafting intuitive user interfaces, delivering robust, responsive web designs, and resolving complex coding issues through advanced debugging and programming skills.
As a member of our Technology Team, you'll be integral to the continued growth and enhancement of our cutting-edge software platforms. We are looking for someone who thrives in complex problem-solving situations, as their main focus will be on complex debugging and resolving intricate technical issues. Our ideal candidate is a mid-to-senior-level developer (5+ years of experience) who thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is an in-person role based out of our Sherwood Park, AB office.
Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to gather and convert user requirements into technical specifications.
Resolving high-priority software issues and providing ongoing support.
Code Development and Testing: Writing, updating, implementing, and testing software code.
Technical Guidance: Acting as a technical resource for clients, troubleshooting system issues, and meeting requirements.
Working on long-term projects in AWS and Azure environments.
Quality Assurance: Contributing to testing and ensuring software reliability.
Extensive Development Experience: strong coding skills in React.js and backend technologies like ColdFusion, PHP, .NET, or Java.
Proven ability to debug complex software issues and deliver effective solutions.
Responsive Design Proficiency: Significant experience in responsive web design and user interface (UI) development.
Adaptable and Eager to Learn: Comfortable taking on new projects in a dynamic and evolving environment.
Strong Communication Skills: Effectively conveys complex technical issues in an understandable manner.
Team-Oriented Work Style: Excels in open office environments where collaboration drives success.
5+ years as a software developer with strong coding skills in React.js and backend technologies like ColdFusion, PHP, .NET, or Java.
Knowledge of MySQL Database
Possess strong English written and oral communication skills
Familiarity with both front-end and back-end development, allowing you to contribute across the full stack.
