Job Summary:Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Sales to lead their B2B sales division. This individual will be responsible for overseeing all sales operations, driving revenue growth, and leading a high-performing sales team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing large teams, implementing sales enablement strategies, and growing market share in competitive industries.Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Strategy:Lead, mentor, and develop a sales team consisting of Regional Sales Managers, Account Executives, and Sales Operations staff.Design and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.Build a high-performing culture that aligns with the company's mission and values.Collaborate with cross-functional leadership (Marketing, Product, Operations) to optimize go-to-market strategies.Sales Enablement:Implement and refine sales enablement processes to improve efficiency, sales productivity, and sales team alignment.Ensure the team is equipped with the tools, knowledge, and training to succeed in the field.Partner with marketing to develop sales collateral, presentations, and other resources to support the team.Revenue & Growth:Develop and execute strategies to expand business, penetrate new markets, and increase customer retention.Regularly report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategy as necessary to meet business goals.Identify and implement growth opportunities, including upselling, cross-selling, and new client acquisition.Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, partners, and stakeholders.Act as a senior point of contact for escalated client issues and high-level negotiations.Key Qualifications:Experience:10+ years of progressive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Demonstrated experience managing large teams, preferably within a B2B sales environment.Proven success in driving revenue growth, improving sales performance, and leading sales enablement initiatives.Skills:Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, negotiation tactics, and closing strategies.Exceptional leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.Ability to develop and implement data-driven strategies for sales success.Experience working with CRM systems, analytics, and sales automation tools.Education:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field; MBA preferred.
