We have 4 mining operations located in the Elk Valley region in the beautiful Southeastern Rockies, BC. Working towards an Undergraduate degree or diploma in Data Analytics, Computer Science or Business Intelligence
Motivated self-starters with the ability to manage several projects simultaneously
Comfortable working in a dynamic work environment with a willingness to work outdoors. Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite and Power BI required
Previous work experience in a technical environment is an asset
Experience with programming languages such as Python is an asset
Participation in the health and safety programs of Teck to ensure that everyone on site goes home safe and healthy everyday
Develop Business Intelligence Reporting practices
Gather, process and analyze data from different data sources
Support data cleanup and migration efforts
Create and utilize data visualization products using applications such as Power BI Dashboards
Create and evaluate innovative ideas and technologies to help improve the way we do business
Some coding may be required (Python/R Programming)
All students will be required to complete pre-employment drug testing prior to commencing work. Proof of a valid work permit will also be required, if applicable.
