CAOT members improve the health and well-being of Canadians by working in partnership with people and communities to help them participate more fully in activities that are important to their everyday lives. As CAOT transitions to a new phase of growth and development, the incoming Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will have the opportunity to lead the organization in advancing its strategic priorities. Reporting to and collaborating with the President and Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible and accountable for the Association’s overall performance through the implementation of the strategic plan, achievement of corporate goals, and effective development and stewardship of corporate resources.
an advanced/graduate degree would be a definite asset
• Accomplished senior leadership experience, preferably in a healthcare or non-profit organization
• Demonstrated abilities in developing and enhancing relationships with provincial and national stakeholders/partners as well as building consensus
• Experience in Board governance, fiscal accountability, Human Resources, professional development
• Ability to communicate effectively in English is essential; proficiency in French would be a definite asset
• Strong commitment to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion
