What You Will Do

  • Lead Operation ICS OT requirements discussions to formally produce functional and nonfunctional requirements and facilitate applications enhancements and integration design discussions with various Operations and IT teams
  • Research and evaluate new application and hardware platforms in partnership with Enterprise Architecture, Operations management, and Innovation Lab teams. Identify optimal solutions that align with ICS OT and Technology Information Services (TIS) strategies.
  • Fully assess impacts of proposed changes and make appropriate recommendations to project and leadership teams.
  • Establish a strong understanding of existing solutions and system landscape and apply the knowledge to design new solutions
  • Responsible for project deliverables including, Operations capabilities, value stream models, customer scenarios & functional requirements, use cases, fit-gap analysis, RFPs, statement of work, solution sizing & estimates, solution architecture, detailed design & integration documents, status updates and executive presentation. duties such as managing email and calendars, routine correspondence, booking meetings, travel arrangements and managing expenses.
  • Analyze Problem Management and Root Cause Analysis reports, and search for trends and solutions to prevent future problems; engage other teams to aggressively address significant problems.
  • Evaluate and anticipate the impact of technical solutions on environments; identify key performance indicators to quantify systems performance and deployment deliverables.
  • Ensure that solutions meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve issues (execution of a plan that turns an idea into a solution).
  • Research and make recommendations on new technology products and services in support of procurement and development efforts.
  • Investigates and troubleshoots technical problems of increasing complexity with historians, MES systems, SCADA/PLC, Alarm Management System, HMIs, Control Networks, and related systems.
Who You Are

  • Bachelor of Science or Engineering in Computer Science, Information Systems or Technology, or engineering discipline or working equivalent
  • Oil and Gas industry experience is a must
  • A thought leader, inquisitive and comfortable in challenging the status quo
  • Hands-on experience to prepare manager/director-level presentations and workshop materials
  • Ability to lead through influence in a complex and evolving environment, meet challenging timelines and organizational goals, and work in ambiguous situations
  • Positive relationship management skills and ability to foster strong internal relationships with stakeholders and leaders, external partners, and internal technology groups
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives generally in different stages
  • Solution design, configuration, custom development, and integration experience with other technology platforms in OSIsoft PI, AVEVA
  • Technical background that enables the candidate to easily interact and give guidance to enterprise developers and architects.
