BMC Solution Application Architect

Summary

We are searching a proficient BMC Solution Application Architect specializing in the implementation of BMC ITSM on Cloud. Implementation will be on AWS, and experience of AWS Cloud and Containerisation (Kubernetes) is required, as is BMC ITSM knowledge and experience, and evidence of understanding of Digital Workplace and Desktops as it relates to IT Asset Management.

Experience of working in a Public Sector Environment is required and in Government of Canada Preferable, with a solid understanding of Cloud and Government Connectivity Services.

Role Requirements

Mandatory

The candidate must have a min of 3 yrs experience as it relates to the summary above and have the following as Mandatory;

  • ITSM Client Implementations and integrations
  • deploying ITSM in AWS Cloud
  • using Kubernetes on AWS Cloud
  • of Government Connectivity Services

Preferred

Evidence of the following is preferred. Stronger candidates will be assessed as having 4+ of the below;

  • Government of Canada ITSM experience
  • workshops on BMC ITSM Solutions/Products with clients
  • FitGap/GAP analysis between client requirements and BMC products/solutions
  • Designing Solutions & providing architectural decisions/recommendations (BMC ITSM solution architecture)
  • Knowledge of all OOTB functionality of the Incident, Problem, Change, Asset Management modules, Knowledge, SLM – including configurations, approval rules etc
  • High level of understanding and experience in designing CMDB solutions
  • Ability to understand customer integration needs in following areas:
  • Ticket brokering using SOAP and RESTAPI
  • Design Data load for foundation and or CMDB – understand Atrium Integrator (previous experience developing is desirable)
  • Email based integrations
  • Service request management
  • Asset requirements
  • CMDB – Proof of concept (POC) in Dev
  • Integration with single sign on (SSO)
  • Modern Smart IT
  • ITSM capabilities and design solutions

Desired – having any of the below will enhance your application

• BMC HDM experience

• Chatbot and agent chat knowledge

• BMC Innovation studio knowledge

• BMC BWF (Business workflow) knowledge

Qualifications;

•Bilingual English/French is an asset

•Proven track record of experience in Public Sector in Canada

Education and Certifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience (7+ years) is required.

• ITIL V4 Certification is a plus.

• Note - Additional certifications in solution architecture, Enterprise ITSM Tools, and specifically updated Remedy versions, including BMC Helix Digital Workplace Advanced 21.02 and above will significantly enhance your application.
