Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Carpenter Foreman, located in Thunder Bay, ON. The Carpenter Foreman will oversee project sites, supervise construction teams, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and to quality standards. Daily tasks include planning and delegating work, hands-on carpentry tasks, operating heavy equipment when needed, and ensuring site safety is adhered and enforced. Effective communication with team members and clients is essential to this role. Qualifications Strong supervisory skills for managing teams and ensuring project efficiency Proficiency in carpentry and the ability to read drawings is a must Must be a resident of Thunder Bay or surounding area Effective communication skills with team members and clients (in spoken and written english) Working knowledge of maintenance processes on construction sites Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Relevant certifications in construction or carpentry are an asset Understanding of workplace safety regulations and standards
