As a Senior Backend Engineer in the Logistics Courier Pay Network team, you will design, deploy, and operate distributed services. Your work spans data modelling, event flows, production operations, RESTful APIs, and observability. You will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders while mentoring peers and shaping backend practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and operate production backend services at scale
- Design event-driven services using Kafka, SQS, or SNS
- Own data modelling, deployments, and production operations
- Deliver performant, observable services for courier logistics
- Mentor peers and advance backend engineering practices
Requirements:
- Five-plus years building production backend services at scale
- Strong Java proficiency with Quarkus or Spring Boot
- Experience with event-driven architectures and Domain-Driven Design
- Database experience across relational and NoSQL technologies
- Production AWS or Azure deployment using Kubernetes
