Job Title: Site Superintendent - New Build Projects
About Us: Our client is a leading construction company dedicated to delivering excellence in every project we undertake. As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a talented and experienced Site Superintendent to join the team.
Position Overview: Our clients are looking for a highly skilled Site Superintendent to oversee new build construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing construction sites, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. As a Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for coordinating with subcontractors, managing on-site personnel, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site, including scheduling, coordination, and supervision of subcontractors and on-site personnel.
Ensure that construction projects are completed safely, on time, and within budgetary constraints.
Conduct regular inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with specifications and building codes.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during construction.
Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and documentation of any changes or deviations from the original plans.
Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates on project status, milestones, and any potential delays or concerns.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in construction management, with a focus on new build projects.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
Proven track record of successfully managing construction sites and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate on-site personnel.
Proficiency in construction management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Primavera, Microsoft Project).
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
