* Observe all PPE & Safety Requirements of EDGE Marine/Bluewater Group/Halifax Port Authority
* Safe/timely loading/offloading of waste materials from our barge
* Organize & stage waste materials for disposal
* Sort and dispose of waste materials shoreside as directed
* Identify & record all hazmat & palletize by vessel
* Work with Environmental Officers/Marine Engineers during offload
* Be comfortable tying up alongside ships with heavy ropes/lines prior to beginning work
* Organizing & manifesting all waste/product offloaded by the vessel while in port
* Warehouse duties as needed *Qualifications*
* Experience with waste management and/or marine environments an asset
* Must be comfortable working in a marine environment
* Ability to perform physical labour (carrying, lifting, dragging, pushing, pulling)
* Must have a valid driver's license
* Ability to work independently and maintain accurate record keeping of work performed
* Ability to operate a forklift an asset
* Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check
