In the first part of the course, students gain an understanding of the external, internal, and dynamic environments of a business and the elements of a superior competitive position. In the third part of the course, we build on these fundamentals and examine challenges related to innovation and industry dynamics, such as industry life cycles, disruptive technologies, product renewal, and the relationship between R&D and commercialization.

•PhD or Masters with a strong background in marketing and strategy. Engineering background is an asset, as is previous teaching experience.

• This course is being offered as synchronous online with an in-person final. Head SIA will a) Hold weekly online case-study analysis tutorials for ~30 students); d) assist with the development of case study material for the course; This job is posted in accordance with the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 Collective Agreement.
Preference in hiring is given to qualified individuals advanced to the rank of Sessional Lecturer II or Sessional Lecturer III in accordance with Article 14:12 of the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 collective agreement.
