KAPP Infrastructure is a Canadian General Heavy Civil Contractor with 40 years of experience in infrastructure construction projects. We deliver marquee projects in key markets including water distribution, hydro, underground works, large bridge structures, and other major civil works. Work in these markets is delivered in all geographies throughout Ontario and should be thought to include not only traditional project delivery, but all alternative modes such as DB, CMCG and EPCM. We are conveniently located in Vaughan close to the 407 and 427 directly off Highway 50. 

They are responsible for making estimates for proposals, bids, and projects in progress (when requested by operations). Implement, revise, and update data banks 
· Identify the risks and constraints of the call for tenders. 
· Lead the file transfer meeting to operations when the contract is obtained.
· Establish lasting contacts with subcontractors and suppliers. 
· Participate in meetings for the start-up of service offers and follow-up executive meetings. 
· Ensure the quality of bids. 
· Be aware of upcoming projects to plan the workload 

Actively participate in the career development of team by providing training and setting development goals. 
· Mentor and develop staff and the next generation in project management. 

Strategic Planning
· Support, adhere to and communicate company decisions in a committed manner. 
· Engage in the development of your team and see to succession planning. 
· Be involved in self-development to maintain or increase organizational capacity and deliver expected results.
· Align the workforce, team members and project partners towards achieving and exceeding desired outcomes.
 
Produce estimates allowing us to win projects to meet annual budget objectives of revenues and profit margins.
· Bachelor's degree in civil or construction engineering and/or a combination of equivalent experience & training. 
· Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in estimating major heavy civil projects and/or urban works. 
· Have relevant experience in carrying out large-scale projects of more than $30 million. 
· Ability to manage more than one project at a time. 
· Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project and Heavy Bid or other estimation software (a great asset); 
· A great work experience.
· Industry and project required safety training.
