Night Watchman

Maple Leaf Marinas is the largest owner of premium Marinas in Canada with locations on Lake Simcoe, Lake Muskoka and Georgian Bay, Ontario. We are seeking a strong, motivated individual for this role; a self-started that enjoys a challenge. Demonstrating effective communication skills. Excellent customer service skills are a must.

Night Watchman

We are looking for a responsible, mature person to perform night security tasks such as monitoring the marina and members, marina upkeep, checking security gates and answering calls from customers. You will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to our guests and members. Being reliable and personable with a keen eye for detail is the first step to getting this job. Candidates must be willing to work on the weekends and throughout the night. Your schedule would be Thursday thru Monday 8 p.m.-4 a.m.

Highlight of Duties:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out routine checks of the property.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner.
• Ensure that our customers are following our rules and regulations; i.e. no fires
• Ensure people on the property are suppose to be here.
• Tasks will include cleaning washrooms so they are fresh for our morning time users, changing garbages and other light duties.
• Monitor channel 68 on the VHF radio. (A radio that our customers can call and alert you that there is something they require; i.e. assistance at their slip)

Job Requirements:

• Valid drivers license
• Experience with Marinas would be an asset but will train.
