Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, the Project Controls Specialist will be responsible for providing project control support to ongoing projects and supporting the company’s estimating and construction teams to ensure that the company’s project control system is properly implemented and utilized.
Develop and maintain project job costs, forecasting, revenue, and cash flows.
Maintain project level cost and budget utilizing company provided software including identification of cost adjustments, quantities, forecast cost to complete, and budget revisions.
Support subcontractor and service agreement payments.
Participate in project decisions regarding cost and scheduling.
Assume additional responsibilities as directed by the Project Management Team.
2-4 years of civil construction experience
~ College and/or University degree in related field, OR applicable work experience
~ Applied knowledge of Project Management and Project Controls principles, including experience with concepts of PMBOK.
~ Applied knowledge of cost engineering/cost control.
~ Intermediate to expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel
~ Organizational skills to handle multiple tasks within a high-pressure work site environment.
~ Willingness for continuous learning and advancement of technical knowledge.
