We're seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join our team and play a pivotal role in scaling up Gutcheck, Canada’s first at-home gut microbiome test and report.

As a Business Development Representative, you'll be instrumental in expanding our reach by forging partnerships with health practitioners and private clinics. Your main responsibilities will include identifying new partnership opportunities, nurturing existing relationships, and exploring untapped areas for collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate be willing to travel to Vancouver/Calgary- Western Canada territory to be considered for the opportunity.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with licensed healthcare practitioners and other potential partners to explore partnership opportunities.
  • Grow the customer base within your territory while maintaining great relationships with existing clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify new partnership areas and industry trends.
  • Manage and develop a territory to achieve sales targets and objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.
  • Lead B2B sales initiatives and campaigns to drive revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sales efforts and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Track and analyze key metrics to measure the success of partnership initiatives.
  • Represent Gutcheck at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success in business development or sales, preferably in the healthcare or wellness industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset.
  • Self-motivated team player with a drive to exceed targets and objectives.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
