Our client’s Halifax branch is seeking an Electrical Engineer/Project Manager with a passion for delivering critical buildings within their community

# Act as lead Project Manager for all assigned projects, including managing a team of Designers and Drafters. Ensure seamless coordination among the internal and external project team. Assume the role of Contract Administrator for designated projects as needed. Ensure assigned projects are delivered on time and on budget, while preparing/reviewing any change orders and contract amendments. Address technical and financial inquiries related to projects. Liaise with external consultants and vendors to facilitate project delivery.
5+ years of electrical engineering Project Management experience within the Halifax electrical building services industry. However, a senior C.Thorough understanding of relevant local building Codes and Standards. Experience in any of the following building types: Commercial, Healthcare, Schools, Light Industrial buildings such as Warehouses/Fabrication Shops/Distribution Centres, or Multi-Family Residential.
Proficiency in project procurement methodologies. Ability to navigate complex environments with multiple projects and clients. Experience collaborating with external consultants and contractors on major projects. LEED certification or experience with sustainable design is considered an asset.
