Planifier et assumer la responsabilité des conceptions, des calculs et des dessins pour des systèmes mécaniques dans des projets de diverses envergures;
# Effectuer la révision technique et le contrôle de la qualité des dessins et documents de conception;
# Apposer son sceau professionnel sur les dessins et autres documents techniques;
# Analyser les spécifications techniques et exigences des clients;
# Assurer la conformité aux normes et réglementations applicables de l’industrie;
# Offrir un soutien durant les appels d’offres et la construction, ce qui comprend : répondre aux demandes d’information, aider le personnel de chantier des clients, réviser les dessins d’atelier;
# Effectuer la surveillance et les inspections de chantier;
# Préparer des plans d’essai, préparer et évaluer des demandes de modification et participer aux réunions de projets;
# Coordonner l’équipe de concepteurs/dessinateurs mécanique du projet (AutoCAD, Plant 3D, Navisworks);
# Coordonner la conception des systèmes mécaniques avec les autres disciplines d’ingénierie (mécanique du bâtiment, électrique, contrôles, civil, structural, , les fournisseurs, et les membres externes de l’équipe de conception;
# Préparer des notes techniques, calculs, simulations, rapports, budgets, estimations des coûts et correspondances;
# Préparer des documents contractuels, tels que les spécifications relatives aux équipements et installations, documents d’approvisionnement d’équipements et de sous-traitance, descriptions de l’étendue de travaux et devis d’installation;
# Supervision de la préparation de conceptions de systèmes mécaniques, de dessins et modèles 3D;
# Préparation et direction de rencontres portant sur le génie mécanique de procédés avec les clients pour y présenter les options de conception, la fonctionnalité des systèmes, etc.

Détenir un Baccalauréat en génie mécanique; 5 à 10 ans d’expérience en conception et mise en œuvre de systèmes mécaniques en milieu industriel tels que: Réseaux de tuyauteries et équipements sous pression ; Analyse de contraintes avec le logiciel Caesar II est un atout; Expérience en systèmes de traitement des eaux est un atout; Bonnes connaissances pratiques des codes, normes et standards applicables aux procédés industriels (normes ASME, API, NFPA); Excellence démontrée à toutes les étapes du cycle de vie d’un projet, de la préparation des soumissions aux études de faisabilité, la conception détaillée et l’analyse des données et la gestion des intervenants; Intérêt pour l’encadrement et le mentorat afin de renforcer les capacités techniques de l’équipe; Sur demande, GHD fournira des mesures d’adaptation raisonnables pour les candidats handicapés tout au long du processus de recrutement et de sélection.
