TRUE is currently seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineering Technologist to join our Kamloops office. This individual’s primary role will involve design using AutoCAD Civil 3D on a variety of municipal infrastructure and land development projects for our municipal, First Nation, and private sector clients in the BC Interior.

Design of infrastructure using AutoCAD Civil 3D including creation of earthworks, site grading plans, road design, and water/sewer/storm infrastructure plan & profiles
Topographic, construction layout, and as-built survey
Construction field inspection and reporting
Visits to project sites.

5 – 10 years’ experience in a civil engineering technology role, preferably in municipal infrastructure design
~ Graduate of a Civil Engineering Technology program
~ Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D grading, pipe networks, and corridors
~ Proficiency in creating and reading civil infrastructure drawings
~ Experience with MMCD is an asset
~ Experience with field inspections is an asset
~ Experience in GIS/ESRI software is an asset
~ Strong written English and verbal communication skills
~ Excellent organization and planning skills
~ Class 5 Drivers License and personal vehicle are required
