The position requires Microsoft Power BI development experience, flexibility, an entrepreneurial spirit, investigative skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong time management and organization skills, as well as comfort with managing complex business demands in a fast-paced environment. The ability to communicate clear & timely messaging to peers, management and executives will be essential. Specific responsibilities may include: • Develop Power BI reporting (primarily) for executive audiences and Power Automate Flows to support FinOps' maturity journey • Create and maintain the process for the collection and processing of data for reports created • Gather and analyze data from multiple sources to resolve inquiries and provide timely guidance • Support the manager, follow escalation paths, and articulate well-reasoned recommendations • Lead the creation of quality report construction; collaborate with partners, develop & document processes and keep stakeholders current on changes • Support the inquiries of our FinOps colleagues – they are our customers • Ensure data accuracy while managing exceptions and working with partners to resolve issues • Foster effective relationships with peers, technology partners and subject matter experts • Implement process & performance improvements where appropriate; support knowledge transfer throughout FinOps MUST HAVE: 3+ years of experience building Power BI reports and Power Automate flows to support reports. 5+ year developing net new reports from data sources which can be ingested into Power BI, includes SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, etc. Developed analytical skills; assess risk & waste, challenge the status quo. Sound judgement & decision-making abilities Strong knowledge of MS Office apps, especially Excel & Power Query A communicator who engages colleagues, partners, and stakeholders The constitution to operate calmly under pressure.
