The University of Lethbridge requires a Counsellor, working in Counselling Services, to commence work as soon as possible, for a full-time, continuing position.
Reporting to the Director of Student Wellness, Counsellors provide a variety of services to students, including personal counselling, group counselling services, psycho-educational workshops, and mental health trainings.
The University of Lethbridge is undertaking a job classification and compensation review for Administrative Professional Officer ( APO ) positions. As such, the salary range currently assigned for this position may be adjusted as a result of this project. Applicants must have a Master’s degree, preferably in Counselling Psychology or related discipline, as well as registration with an appropriate professional body. A minimum of 2 years post-masters counselling experience is preferred.
Demonstrated counselling skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills
