Position: Registered Psychotherapist

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60-80/hr (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual counselling sessions with clients.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client files, including consents and notes.
  • Prepare and provide necessary documentation to third parties.
  • Participate in team meetings and consultations.
  • Contribute to the creation of engaging social media content to promote mental health awareness.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Counselling or Social Work, with a completed practicum placement.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Deep understanding of intersectionality and culturally responsive therapeutic practices.
  • Commitment to ethical practices and professional standards.
  • Proficiency in trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, and anti-racist approaches.
  • Strong collaborative skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Registration with the Canadian Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
  • Personal liability insurance.
  • Proficiency in additional languages is a significant asset; Arabic speaking an asset.
